I’VE GOT A FEVER, AND THE ONLY PRESCRIPTION IS MORE PATAPON!

This week sees the release of the sequel to the addictive strategy and rhythm game Patapon for the PSP. You are the leader of a tribe of Patapon, and you command them during their battles using drum beats. The better time you keep with the drum, the better your troops will perform. (PATA-PATA-PATA-PON) The interesting thing about the sequel is that it isn’t available on a UMD disc like most PSP games. You can pick it up as a download from the PlayStation Store online. You can also access the PlayStation store through you PS3 or PSP. Or, if you don’t want to use a credit card online, you can purchase a voucher for the download in stores. (CHAKA-CHAKA-PATA-PON) The story does continue from the first game, and you can import the save from the original to unlock some extra money and items for your army. You don’t have to have played the original to enjoy the new game, though. If you’ve been looking for a new game for that upcoming car trip or plane ride, or just for fun, give it a try. A downloadable demo is also available on the PlayStation Store. Play it. Buy it. Enjoy it. Oh, and good luck getting the drum songs out of your head. (PON-PON-PATA-PON)
