CAPCOM set the bar pretty high in their last entry to their popular horror/action series. Now, with Resident Evil 5, they’re trying to improve upon it again. With the demo now available for both major consoles, you can download it and see for yourself. Join Chris Redfield as he investigates reports of an outbreak of a mutagenic virus in an African village. Oh, and the virus in this village doesn’t just create your run-of-the-mill zombies. It also causes its victims to start sprouting crazy black tentacles. Gross. Chris’ partner for this journey is the newcomer, Sheva Alomar. What’s the coolest thing about his new partner? She’s fully playable in a co-op mode. You can play through the entire game with a buddy online. (Don’t worry. Those of us without any friends can still play with an AI controlled Sheva.) Hop online and download it to see for yourself. Then, when you’ve decided that it’s awesome, you can pre-order the full version at your nearest Play N Trade.
